Amplifying missions through shared spaces & resources

An innovative, professional, and collaborative work environment

Our Mission

The Carroll Nonprofit Center exists to improve the quality of life for current and future generations of Carroll County by providing an innovative, professional and collaborative work environment at below market rent for the administrative offices of charitable nonprofit organizations that focus primarily on childhood development, education, arts and the promotion of general social welfare.

Our History

The Carroll Nonprofit Center was established and funded by Anverse Inc., a private foundation based in Cartersville, GA. Planning began in 2001, with construction starting in 2004. The Nonprofit Center opened its doors in 2006, with 24 tenants, filling the building to capacity.

“Finding a home for our staff at Habitat for Humanity has been made effortless thanks to the Carroll Nonprofit Center. Their commitment to providing flexible office space at minimal cost, has enabled us to focus more of our resources on our mission of building homes and hope. The amenities and supportive environment fostered by the Center have truly enhanced our productivity and collaboration. We are grateful for their partnership in helping us, and other nonprofits, serve our community better.”

“The Carroll County Community Mediation Center has been a tenant at the Carroll Nonprofit Center since 2009.  The center started in an office with one staff person within a Suite shared by three other organizations.  After 15 years, the center now has its own Suite providing office and working space for four staff members.  The center’s growth was made possible by the generosity of the Anverse Foundation.

As a grant funded organization, it is always a challenge to secure funding for overhead and administrative costs such as rent, utilities, salaries, etc.  The Carroll Nonprofit Center continues to provide Nonprofit organizations with office, meeting, and training space at a nominal cost which allows the Mediation Center and other organizations to utilize funding to realize our Missions.  The Mediation Center strives to take away barriers to utilizing coaching, mediation, and facilitation services to resolve conflicts in the community.  We provide all our services at no cost at times and locations convenient to participants.  Without the partnership with the Carroll Nonprofit Center, we would not be able to serve the conflict needs of the Carroll Community to extent we are able to with this partnership.”

“The Non-Profit Center has been an incredible resource for not only Penn-Mar but the community as a whole, bringing connection, collaboration, resources, programing, dedicated spaces, and networking opportunities to all. The Non-Profits of Carroll County are beyond dedicated to helping all within the community in our various workplaces and those efforts are made easier with the Non-Profit Center, as it brings all together in one place for ample opportunities.

The Non-Profit Center has been a touchdown space for community-based services for those we support at Penn-Mar. This has provided a safe and well-known space to those supported and their families to feel comfortable when waiting for transportation (CTS), staff, use of the facilities, the lunchroom, and the open space for meaningful activities, which we tend to have challenges finding elsewhere within in the community.”
