Caring Carroll
Caring Carroll is a free, volunteer-driven program that matches trained volunteers with older adults aged 60 and over in Carroll County who wish to remain living independently. Founded in 2007, the program provides practical, non-emergency assistance and friendly connection to help seniors stay safely in their own homes.
Services include:
- Transportation assistance (ride scheduling available)
- Meal and grocery delivery
- Light home chores and repairs
- Leaf raking, cleaning, and seasonal tasks
- Friendly visits and social connection
- Group volunteer activities through congregations and community groups
- Referrals to additional community resources
Who qualifies: Carroll County residents age 60 and older with limited resources who are isolated, disabled, or frail and wish to remain living independently. No cost to eligible seniors.
