Community Mediation Center

The Carroll County Community Mediation Center (CCCMC) provides free, confidential conflict resolution services to all Carroll County residents. Whether you’re dealing with a neighbor dispute, family conflict, landlord-tenant issue, or workplace disagreement, trained mediators help all parties reach their own solutions in a neutral, nonjudgmental setting. Sessions are scheduled at times and locations convenient to participants, including evenings and weekends.

Services include:

  • Mediation — structured process where a neutral mediator helps two or more people resolve a dispute and make their own decisions about the outcome
  • Conflict Coaching — one-on-one sessions (in person, online, or by phone) to help individuals prepare for a difficult conversation or improve conflict management skills
  • Large Group Facilitation — for groups of 10 or more, facilitators help guide productive dialogue and keep meetings on track
  • IEP Meeting Facilitation — neutral facilitation for parents and schools during Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support constructive communication
  • Public Education & Training — conflict resolution presentations and trainings tailored for community groups, churches, schools, and organizations

Types of conflicts served: Neighbor-neighbor, landlord-tenant, family (parent-teen, couples, siblings), co-workers, employee-employer, business-consumer, and neighborhood associations.

Who qualifies: Any Carroll County resident, business, or organization. No referral needed. All services are free of charge.
