Sante Mobile Crisis Team
The Santé Mobile Crisis Team (MCT) provides immediate, in-person crisis intervention for anyone in Carroll County experiencing a mental health or substance use emergency. The team comes to you — no need to go to a hospital or emergency room. Santé partners with the Carroll County Health Department and Carroll County Sheriff’s Department to ensure a coordinated community response.
The team includes a Licensed Mental Health Professional and a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist with lived experience, providing compassionate, real-world support when it matters most.
Services include:
- In-person mobile crisis response — they come to you
- Mental health crisis assessment and stabilization
- Substance use harm reduction, overdose support, and referral to treatment
- Safety planning and crisis resolution
- Warm handoff to ongoing services and providers
- Phone-based crisis helpline staffed by live counselors
- Follow-up support after a crisis
Who qualifies: Any Carroll County resident of any age — children, adolescents, adults, and families. No referral needed. No cost.
How to access: Call the Carroll County Crisis Helpline — available by phone 9:00 am–9:00 pm, mobile team responds 9:00 am–12:00 am, seven days a week.
