Catholic Charities Early Head Start
Catholic Charities Early Head Start of Carroll County provides free, comprehensive early childhood development services for income-qualifying families with children prenatal through age 2, as well as pregnant mothers. Serving Carroll County families since 2000, the program supports children’s mental, social, emotional, and physical growth while partnering with parents as their child’s first and most important teachers.
Services include:
- In-home services for prenatal families
- Individualized activities to promote infant/toddler development
- Nutritious meals, snacks, and family nutrition education
- Free dental exams
- Inclusive services for children with disabilities (ADA/IDEA)
- Help and referrals for health, substance abuse, and job loss
- Adult classes in child development, job training, and health
Who qualifies: Carroll County residents from income-qualifying families. No cost to eligible families.
