Dads Works / Moms Works
Dads Works / Moms Works is a free support group and parenting program serving Carroll County parents — both fathers and mothers — who want to strengthen their relationship with their children and their child’s other parent. Founded in 2000, the program is especially helpful for separated or divorced parents navigating co-parenting.
Separate groups are provided for dads and moms, creating a safe, confidential space for each to learn and seek support.
Services include:
- Parenting skills education
- Communication and relationship skills
- Anger management techniques
- Domestic violence prevention skills
- Psycho-educational support to build confidence in parenting
- Encouragement, support, and discipline strategies
Who qualifies: Carroll County parents of any income level. The 8-week program is $65 per week, or $500 if paid in full upfront (a $20 savings). Scholarship or reduced-cost participation may be available based on circumstances – contact directly to discuss.
